Brendon O'Rourke

Managing Director

Brendon O’Rourke is the Managing Director and a founding member of Nuago. He has worked in the IT industry for more than a decade, with a wide variety of experience across roles including technical deployment, internal and external sales, project coordination and project management. He has strong organisational knowledge and expertise, with the ability to visualise, plan, and manage objectives to achieve effective results. His management capabilities were further augmented by comprehensive training received at the Royal Military College – Duntroon in Canberra, where he learned a wealth of invaluable leadership skills and effective teamwork dynamics.

Brendon has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is also CompTIA A+ technically certified and holds both PRINCE2 and PMP project management accreditations.

As Managing Director, Brendon is responsible for facilitating company operations and providing strategic guidance to ensure the company achieves its mission and objectives.

Mick O'Rourke


Mick O’Rourke is the company Chairman and a co-founder of Nuago.

Mick has worked in varying business environments for the past 30 years, including computer manufacturing firms and distribution. His roles have included project management, marketing, sales, senior management, and small business ownership.

Mick has worked as an engineer for Exxon, product marketing manager for Hewlett-Packard, and Vice-President of Marketing for three different computer firms in the USA (one start-up, and two turnaround companies).

He also owned a successful computer dealership in Adelaide that grew from $5M to $36M in 7 years, and was sold to an ASX listed company. He started up another IT company, Datacom SA, with 5 partners in 2006, that subsequently became the largest such firm in South Australia. He is a dual citizen of Australia and America. Mick has worked with companies as a consultant in the areas of marketing, sales, growth, strategic plans, goal-setting, performance management, and creation of company culture. His education includes an MBA and BS Civil Engineering, Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. He also spent two years at the U.S. Military Academy – West Point, New York.

As Chairman, Mick is responsible for chairing, planning, advising, monitoring and facilitating key company board decisions including strategic, legal, and financial matters.

Connor O'Rourke

Director - Sales

Connor O’Rourke is the Director of Sales and a founding member of Nuago. He has more than a decade of experience in the IT industry and has considerable expertise in all elements of Sales and customer service across market segments in South Australia. He brings a strong customer-centric leadership style and an entrepreneurial mindset which means that Nuago’s customers are often respectfully challenged with new ways of thinking about technology and how it can aid their organisation.

Connor has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Psychology from Colorado State University. Prior to starting Nuago, Connor was the General Manager of Sales at Datacom Systems. He also holds numerous sales certifications across the Nuago technology stack as well as having completed a number of leadership and self-development courses.

As Director of Sales, Connor is responsible for the overall management of relationships with our customers, trusted partners and Nuago’s outstanding customer-focused sales team.

Craig Howarth

Director - Technology

Craig Howarth is the Director of Technology and a founding member of Nuago. He has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years and has considerable experience in the architecture and implementation of solutions across a number of industry verticals. He has strong technical capabilities and brings proven experience in the delivery of innovative solutions that drive real business value.

Craig has a Bachelor in Information Technology (Info Systems) from Charles Sturt University. He also holds a number of industry certifications that include Cisco BVP, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE and ITIL Foundation v3.

As Technical Director, Craig is responsible for overseeing the adoption of new technologies within the business. He is also responsible for managing the technical team that provides consulting services and ongoing operational support for Nuago’s clients.

Ben Scholefield

Director - Managed Services

Ben Scholefield is the Director of Managed Services and a co-founder of Nuago. Ben has 15 years experience in the IT industry working with a range of clients from large financial institutions, iconic manufacturers through to small niche businesses. Having started his IT career in technical support Ben understands the challenges organisations and support staff face keeping up with the ever changing IT landscape.

Ben has a strong technical background with numerous industry certifications as well as additional certifications in methodologies such as Prince2 Project Management and ITIL. Recently Ben has been consulting for clients and architecting support solutions with a focus on cloud technology and Managed Services.

As Director of Managed Services Ben is responsible for building our unique modular Managed Service capabilities and ensuring our team is continually innovating and exceeding our client’s expectations.

Dave Brown

Director - Advisory & Consulting

Dave Brown is the Director of Advisory & Consulting. Dave joined Nuago full-time in January 2018 to start and build the Advisory & Consulting practice which rounds out Nuago as an end-to-end partner across the entire technology lifecycle from strategy through delivery and to ongoing management.

Dave has 15 years experience in the IT industry locally, nationally and internationally and holds a number of industry certifications that complement his studies in Commerce and a Diploma of Management.

As Director of Advisory & Consulting, Dave is responsible for helping our clients align ICT strategy with business strategy and for helping business leaders understand how technology can help their business unlock its full potential.
